Device access from anywhere
To get started with PlainApp: File & Web Access, tap the computer icon on the top-right corner that looks like a laptop. On the next screen, enable the "Allow remote access from PC" toggle and choose between HTTP or HTTPS protocols. Scroll down, and you'll see a list of permissions for accessing your files, contacts, and such — grant the ones you want to access later.
After that, go back to the top and take note of the URL address shown. Open a web browser on your computer and type in that same address. When the PlainApp web interface loads, click on the Log In button and wait for it to pair up with your mobile device. You will be directed to the main interface, wherein you can access your files and contacts.
Other notable features include access to the notes and RSS reader web apps, a screen mirroring function, and a handy device info section to know about your device's hardware. There's even a unique sound meter tool if you need it. There are the occasional disconnection and slow transfer speed issues, though, but they are few and far between.
